Permanent Weight Loss with Lap Band Surgery




Overweight or obese is risky to your health.  The more overweight you are, the greater the risk of developing additional health problems. It can give you problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.  So, if you have an overweight problem, try to lose weight, and avoid gaining additional weight afterwards.

It represents the amount of calories per day your body burns, regardless of exercise. In order to lose weight, you simply need to increase your daily activity or consume fewer calories than those needed to maintain your weight.

The gastric band is an inflatable silicone prosthetic device which is placed around the top portion of the stomach via keyhole laparoscopic surgery.

The lap band surgery helps retrain you to eat smart because it makes you feel full very quickly, encouraging loss of most of your excess weight at a healthy pace and helping you keep it off, permanently.
