2 Pounds Loss Is as Easy as 1, 2, 3

This morning when I stepped on the scale, I kind of surprised the whole apartment by my out loud “Yippiieee!” 

I lost 2 pounds. Isn’t that great? 

It started last two weeks when I visited my mom. I found my old skirt. It was my favorite. I tried to put it on. I failed. 

So, I thought, the war should’ve begun! I made a decision to diet a bit.  And this morning, the whole Healthifica team was stunned as I enter the room with that cute skirt. Riana, our newsletter editor, said that I looked different. 

“Of course,dear, I’ve just lost 2 pounds.” I said proudly. 

However, 2 pounds, it wasn’t that hard to lose anyway.   All I did was simply eat more fruits, lessen fat intake and do more sport (jogging, my favorite). I bet anybody can do that. What it takes to a successful diet is only a huge will, the rest will follow.

Paltrow’s 2nd Child, Is He Healthy?

Last Weekend, Gwyneth Paltrow (33) gave birth to her second child, Moses. She and her hubby, Chris Martin (29), vocalist of Coldplay, gave a little brother to their first child, Apple (2).

The name given to their new son was probably taken from Martin’s song titled Moses released in 2003.

It was reported that both baby and mother were both 100% healthy. No further information.

Let’s just hope that it was true.

Previously, when she was 5 month pregnant, Paltrow was caught drinking. As we all know, drinking is forbidden for pregnant woman.

A Crying Boom in Japan

These days, in Japan, people are bombarded by books and videos on how to cry and on crying therapy.

It was triggered by the popularity of Korean movies in that country. These movies are so emotional that make those who watch shed a tear.

According to a famous Japanese saying, “tears are the sweat of the heart”. It may contain a scientific truth. Like sweat, tears seem to serve the function of ridding the body of waste substances. So it is no wonder that people often feel refreshed after a good cry.

According to some research, tears produced from emotions are different from those produced from such things as onions or eye irritations. The emotional tears can reduce your stress levels.

So, are you now having a problem? Why don’t you take some time to cry?

If you’re planning to be a member in a gym, it’d be good for you to consider these details below:

  • Equipment: Make sure they get the best ones, not some old broken ones
  • Cleanliness: Check out if they have fresh towels for people to use while working out and spray bottles to wipe equipment down after use
  • Hours of Operation: Are they opened on weekends and holidays?
  • Cost and Extra Features: Does the amount you’ll be paying them worth it? Do they offer extra features such as massage or physical therapy and a juice or snack bar?
  • Accessibility: Choose one close to your home or office depends on your own flexibility.
