Our beloved newsletter subscriber, Virginia Champion, shared her valuable tips on leg cramps:
“If you get leg cramps at night, mix equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water and keep it in the refrigerator. When you get the cramp drink some of it and the potassium gets into your bloodstream very fast and your cramps will stop quickly.”
Hope that helps you all and thanks so much, Virginia.

While you are waiting for the result of a biopsy, you might be either praying and putting yourself at ease by hoping it’ll be nothing or you let yourslef drowned in fear and thoughts of death.
And, after you get the result and it is far from what you wish to hear, you’ll get devastated.
Even if you haven’t gone through any of those I mentioned above, I believe that’s what you might have in mind should you be in the positions.
But, do you know that there are people who can laugh out of it?
No, they’re not making light of the suffering inflicted by a deadly disease. Not at all.
“Many people don’t know how to deal with cancer, so by saying something funny, you can break the ice,” said Heidi Adams, who founded the Planet Cancer site. [news.yahoo.com]
But don’t worry, there are unspoken rules to cancer humor. So, noone will get hurt out of it.

Lee fell ill last Saturday while attending a function in Geneva and underwent an emergency surgery for a blood clot in his brain later on the same day. He passed away Monday following the surgery.
He was the director-general of the World Health Organization since 2003.
He played an important role in improving the health of millions of people. He did his best in combating tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, stopping polio, as well as encouraging the whole world in fighting against a potentially deadly flu pandemic.
He is survived by his wife, Reiko, a son, two brothers and one sister.
Anders Nordstrom, from Sweden, formerly assistant director-general of WHO, will succeed Lee to become the organization’s acting director-general.

Bono, the U2 frontman, is well known for his actions in fighting against diseases and poverty in Africa.
He applauded some African countries for their efforts to control malaria, which claims millions of lives on the continent every year.
What is Malaria anyway?
It’s a serious, infectious disease spread by certain kinds of mosquitoes. It is common in tropical climates.
It can be transmitted by a mosquito or through blood transfusions. It can’t be passed directly from one human to another.
A person infected with malaria passes through three stages of very distinctive symptoms:
- uncontrollable shivering for an hour or two
- quick rising of temperature
- sweating abundantly, rapid drop of temperature
Other symptoms accompanying above are fatigue, severe headache, nausea, and vomiting.

Are you having heart problem?
If you do, I suggest you to get a check-up on your heart before letting yourself sitting right in front of your TV to enjoy World Cup. Especially for those who get so attached to their team.
In the 1998 World Cup, the number of heart attacks in Britain rose by 25 per cent when England lost to Argentina in a penalty shootout, according to a study in the British Medical Journal (BMJ). [People’s Daily Online]
The above detail is my reason to the above suggestion. You surely don’t want your heart to stop if your team lose the game, do you?
But, I also have a good news for those who have heart problem regarding the world cup. On the contrary, it might even lower the death rate from heart attack.
During the 1998 World Cup, when France defeated Brazil in the final, deaths from heart attacks in men and women dropped on the day of the match. [HeartCenterOnline]
So, are you all ready for the forthcoming World Cup?
