For you who are worried about skin cancer, I have found this article that can help you get as early treatment as possible.
Skin Cancer; Early Treatment Wins the Game
By Lance Winslow
Skin cancer can happen to anyone and those at risk need to be smart and seek professional advice and/or early treatment. This makes sense of course but how do you know if you are at risk? Well if you work in an industry were you are exposed a lot to the sun you could be at risk.
If you get sunburns quite easily or have very light skin you would be more susceptible. Also if you have blue or green eyes or have blond or red hair you will be slightly more at risk. One of the most obvious things to think about is if you have skin cancer, which runs in your family. If you have a lot of moles you may wish to have a doctor look at them to see if they are the type that can become cancerous. Children who have had very bad skin burns in their past could be at risk as adults.

Matt Brown, in his blog, mentioned about his thinking to change a career into a nurse practitioner.
Are you also thinking the same?
If you do, I believe you need to look back in case you have been taken care by a nurse. Was he or she a good one? What did you wish he or she hadn’t done to you? What should he or she have done?
I think those questions would be a great start to your new career should you really want to change it. Therefore, you’ll be a good nurse that no one can complain to.

Prunes are dried plums. Yet, both fresh and dried, they contain unique phytonutrient called neochlorogenic and chlorogenic acid. Both are such strong anti-oxidants.
Not only that, they also are great sources of vitamin A in the form of Beta-Carotene. Beta-Carotene is an anti-oxidant and such can be useful for curbing the excess of damaging free radicals in the body. [wikipedia]
Plus, there is no doubt that they have a very high dietary fiber content, so prune juice is often used to help regulate the functioning of the digestive system. [wikipedia]
You can add them in your cereal, yoghurt or vegetable salad. It’s not only healthy, but also tasty for their being sweet and juicy.
Yet, be careful for they also contain oxalates. Oxalates can interfere with absorption of calcium from the body. Also, they can crystallize. So, it would be better for those who have kidney or gallbladder problems to skip either fresh or dried plums.

Elder Faery was tagged by her friends to mention 5 things in her fridge, handbag and car.
One of the things in her fridge is Norwegian Goat Cheese, also known as geitost, or brunost (lit. brown cheese) and gjetost. It’s a firm, brown cheese made from the whey of goat’s milk originated in Norway. [wikipedia]
Why goat cheese?
Why not?
It is a great source of protein, calcium, and vitamin A. Also, it’s good for those who have allergy to cow’s milk. But, be careful, not all Norwegian Goat Cheese are made from pure goat’s milk, some are mixed with cow’s milk.
Yet, you can try this delicious Soft Goat Cheese & Smoked Salmon on Toast recipe posted at www.norway.org.

There are many reasons why one can get stressed out. It could be financial reason, or life itself, family, home, or work.
How work can be the reason, mostly, it’s because you can’t manage your overloaded jobs. You don’t know your priorities and don’t know either how to set these priorities.
Therefore, you need an agenda.
I’ve just read this great post by Seth Godin about setting your agenda. He mentioned the importance of setting an agenda and self-discipline.
So, start reducing your stress now by setting your agenda and make a promise to make it.

Who can stand ants hanging around the house? Especially if you have kids. Even if you don’t, knowing that they’re around can make you feel itchy even if you’re not getting bitten by these little creatures!
However, I have some tips to avoid their invasion or get rid of them:
- Remove rubbish and food scraps - Don’t forget to do this if you wish to have a great sleep (for not being attacked by them) or not to find a new ants colony right in your kitcken!
- Wash utensils, crockery and cooking items soon after use - this is also important! No use of doing the first tips above if you don’t do this…
- Move outdoor trash and recycling bins as far from your home as possible
- Store food in sealed containers - this way, you can avoid sharing food with them
- Draw lines of chalk around your food to save it from being taken away by ants
- Are they still there? Don’t call a pest control expert yet…try to put out fresh bay leaves by your windows and doors, they are surely cheap and work wonderfully,
- or fill a squirt bottle with plain white vinegar, and squirt it anyplace you’ve seen ants (kitchen counters, windowsills, etc) and let it dry. It’s non-toxic, won’t harm anything, and the smell will go away in just a couple of minutes,
- or, try placing whole cloves in your cupboards, drawers and any place they seem to hang around, they will disappear for they don’t like the smell.
- Still have them around? Well, maybe it’s time to call the ‘expert’…
- Good luck!
Tell you a secret, I feel itchy just by looking at the above picture…
Or…do you like ants like Shosh? So, you don’t need to get busy getting rid of them

Everyone needs to take a break. From work, from school, from life, as well as from blogs.
Blogging should be something fun. It helps you let out all your emotion and hidden thoughts. It’s also a good way to practice writing and making friends. Shortly, it makes your life even brighter.
Yet, some have their own reasons to take some time off. It’s not a big deal. If you love blogging and the community so much, you can get back anytime. And, you’re always welcome.
Life is complicated and simple in its own way. Let’s just make sure we’re not drawn in complication or being superficial by its simplicity.
