I know, diarrhoea (the passing of frequent, watery stools) can make you terribly weak. Going in and out of the restroom again and again, plus loss of fluid and appetite make it even worse.
So, if you happen to have it (cross fingers hoping that you don’t), like Mark and TigerAngelLeigh, here are some treatments that you might be able to try:
- Drink lots of water to prevent dehydration.
- If you are suffering from an acute diarrhoea you’d better drink more fluids (3-4 liters a day), preferably containing sugar and salts. You can buy the ready-mixed rehydration sachets from the pharmacist and drink more water.
- Consume foods containing salt, such as crisps or soup.
- Maintain your hygiene.
- Eat normally as soon as your appetite returns but if you have suffered an acute attack of diarrhoea, avoid foods containing milk for a couple of days.
- You’d better call your doctor if If you have a high temperature (over 38°C), blood or mucus in your stools, or severe vomiting that could lead to dehydration or the diarrhoea has lasted for more than 48hrs.
Get well soon!

Sometimes bad weather keeps you from walking. But, not for Nina. She keeps walking everyday eventhough the wind is strong. She walks with her broken heart.
But, Joanne prefers inside walking which is good for her health. She made a lot of trips around the rooms, while Brian, walks his daughter to school everyday. He does it to permit him to build dozens of relationships with other parents.
So, do you think it’s time for you to walk?
No matter what your reason to do it, walking is good for you.

Mighty Girl’s blog is one of those great blogs that I adore. Not only because of the writing, but also the writer. She seems like a great person, especially after listening to her radio interview that she posted sometimes back.
Her dear friends took pictures of her. And, yup, she looks great.
She’s pregnant with Mighty Baby now. And she looks healthy.
Good for you, Maggie, for having such great friends with great talents on photography.

Happy New Year to all of you!
I’m always excited about a new year. A new year means a new hope. A new hope can make us happy. Happiness leads to health.
So, tell me, how did you enjoy your New Year Celebration?
I had a great dinner with my son. I thought, at his age (he’s teenager, right now), I wouldn’t have the chance to ask him out during New Year’s Eve (which is our tradition). But then, he was too sweet to say no to his beloved mother.
New Year’s Eve is a moment when my son and I can spend time just the two of us. My mom who lives with us always goes to my brother’s place every end of the year ’til mid January.
Now, I’d like to invite you to visit these great blogs where the owner shares great great New Year Celebration:
So, if you happen to have a wonderful story on the New Year’s Eve, just share it.
