You must have known green tea more than well. But now, let me introduce you to white tea.
White tea, just like every other tea, comes from the Camellia sinensis plant. This specialty of the Chinese province Fujian is made from very young tea leaves or buds.
Its flavour is described as light, and sweet.
It’s undergone very little processing and no fermentation. That’s why it contains more polyphenols, the powerful anti-oxidant that fights and kills cancer-causing cells, than any other type of tea.
Another reason why white tea is considered good for your health is that a study held in 2004 at Pace University concluded that white tea can help your body’s immune system force back viruses and dangerous infection-causing bacteria.
The same study concluded that fluoride-rich white tea helps prevent the growth of dental plaque, the chief cause of tooth decay.
So, let’s get some white tea. Let’s sip this silky sweet tea and be healthy.
