Benefits of Exercise Articles
One of the famous yet wrong pregnancy myths is that a pregnant momma can’t go swimming for she could contract an infection from the water and it could spread to her womb.
There is no medical basis for this concern. On the contrary, swimming is a wonderful way for pregnant women to exercise. It’s a very safe form of exercise because the risk of injury is low.
Either you’re a beginner or someone who has been swimming for years, swimming is good for you who are expecting babies.
Jane Katz, in her book, Water Fitness During Your Pregnancy, explains the benefits of water exercise for pregnant women, plus the health and safety guidelines. Katz has been an expert in the water exercise and swim fields for more than 30 years.
Lauri and Jen, both are pregnant mommas. They keep swimming and they enjoy it so much.

Treadmill is one of the most favorite cardio equipment for it can help burning much calorie. Yet some are avoiding it because it’s kind of boring.
But, you know what, it’s a great challenge! Treadmill can examine your ability to concentrate and fight your boredom. It definitely challenges you mentally.
If you’re one of those who get bored easily with treadmill, try to do it with your favorite music on. Music can create such a good mood to exercise.
Don’t forget to try all available treadmill programs, such as interactive-heart-rate workouts, calorie burn, interval training, or random, so that your ‘journey’ becomes a lot less monotonous.
Put on light weight running shoes to lessen the load on your feet. Also, keep a bottle of water so you don’t get dehydrated.
Have fun!

Who is our “HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK” now?
It’s Hilda. Congratulations, Hilda!
Hilda is chosen because she made it to run for 18 miles in a damped air.
She prepared this marathon since the day before by consuming more complex carb. The next morning she woke up at 5.00 and had orange juice and oatmeal for the pre-training meal.
Five minutes afterwards, she started running. Thanks to her positive thinking, she made the 18 miles. And, she definitely enjoyed it.
She wrote this lovely last sentence in her post, “How nice is running, it gives you the nicest time to enjoy yourself, the only thing to be done is to go on no matter what is going on around.”
So, if you’re planning to include running in your exercise plan, you should look up to her.
Way to go, Hilda!

Traditionally, yoga was taught one-on-one. If you have tried yoga by yourself and you like it, why don’t you take your own private yoga lessons so that you can get the most out of it?
With a private lesson you can:
- selectively choose and develop the yoga postures and breathing exercises that meet your specific needs
- get specific therapeutic benefits for injury, illness, stress and emotional difficulties
- decide the timing in between your tight schedule
Emily is starting next week. Good for you, Emily!

Exercise Essential for the Health of Your Arteries
“Arterial diseases are responsible for heart attacks and strokes, the first and third leading causes of death in American men. The culprit is atherosclerosis, in which cholesterol-laden plaques build up in the arteries.”
To Your Enduring Health: Do Chores, Live Longer
“A new study of healthy older people found that the more active a person is, the longer he or she is likely to live. That alone is not terribly surprising. What’s new is that it apparently doesn’t matter what form the activity takes.”
Take charge of your health through Choose to Move
“Statistics show that walking is the most popular form of cardiovascular activity as it can be done by almost anyone. The American Heart Association’s signature event across the nation is the Heart Walk, a national walking event held in communities across the country.”
Healthy Lifestyle Cuts Women’s Stroke Risk
“A healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise, no smoking, moderate alcohol consumption, and a healthy diet can help cut a woman’s stroke risk, a new U.S. study confirms.”

Well, there may be several reasons why you prefer to quit the class.
The reasons varie from one person to another but as far as I notice, all only because of one thing: discomfort!
So, it means, you don’t need to hate it and stop having any yoga class at all in life. Simply choose another one that gives you all the comfort you need or start your own yoga class.
However, these simple tips might help you get a great cozy class:
- Get yourself many information on yoga before starting enrolling to a class
- Try to dig in more info on the institution, the class, the teacher from someone who have joined the class
- Choose your style of yoga by asking to watch the class before enrolling
- Choose your teacher carefully, ask as many questions as you wish, don’t be afraid that they might be calling you chatty
- Choose a teacher that you like, it’ll ease your learning process
- Choose small classes, 50 students in a class is nothing but learning from a video that you can do at home!
Good luck!
