I believe you all know the importance of breakfast. Yet, I also believe some of you sometimes skip it for lack of time.
Karyn’s friend’s decision to skip breakfast, hopefully didn’t end her up to fatigue.
Why would it cause fatigue?
Imagine, when you wake up in the morning, you’ve passed eight to ten hours since your last meal. That makes your blood sugar low. If you don’t refill your energy by having breakfast, you’ll get tired by mid-day.
Even if you don’t have much time, try to prepare a meal that contains carbohydrates for energy and protein for endurance. Simply have a whole grain bagels with cheese or cereal with fruit and yogurt or scramble eggs, toast and fruit.
But, do you skip breakfast because you worry about the calorie?
Well, you should be more worried, then. Skipping breakfast can even make you overeat at the next meal. Plus, you might end up having unhealthy snacks.
So, make sure you have your breakfast today! It’s just a friendly reminder for your health.
Have a nice day!

The Washington Times reported that German medical researchers have announced that honey is more effective in healing problem wounds, ulcers and skin conditions than standard antibiotics.
Honey is also effective in treating stomach ulcer. The bacteria causing it, staphylococcus and heliobacter pylori, are two of the strains of bacteria that can be destroyed by honey.
So, if you have stomach ulcer, you should consider using honey to heal it. You can take one teaspoon before breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime. To well transport the honey into your stomach, you’d better put the honey on a small piece of bread.
Actually, even if you don’t have such disease, you can consume honey for your health. As mentioned, not only honey can be used against the two bacteria, it is also effective against other 58 strains of bacteria.
You can use honey in food or drink, just like Jen did. She made Honey Bourbon Salmon and Honey Lemon-Limade.
Be healthy now, be healthy forever.

Do you like paprika? If you do, this weekend, you can try these recipes since they have paprika or bell pepper as one of the ingredients:
Paprika, not only it contains Vitamin C, Beta-carotene, Vitamin B1 & B2, but also Capsaicin.
Capsaicin is the chemical oil found in chilli peppers that gives them their hot taste. [foodprocessing-technology.com]
Not only related to taste, capsaicin is also related to cancer. Some researchers in the University of Pittsburgh, found that capsaicin can cause apoptosis death in pancreatic cancer cells. The spicy compound kills pancreatic tumor cells but does not affect normal, healthy pancreas cells. Researchers in Los Angeles report that capsaicin kills prostate tumor cells.
So, start your healthy life now by consuming paprika, just like Justine did.
Have a nice weekend!

A diet rich in carbohydrates with a low glycemic index appears to be more effective in reducing fat mass and lowering the chances of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD) than diets with a high glycemic index or high in protein, an Australian research team reports.[reuters.co.id]
This should be a great news to many dieters out there like Susan and The Whimsy. Good luck to you both on your diet and don’t stop trying.
You can try this one, too.
Yet, Dietician, Amy Fleishman, of the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, said, “There’s nothing on a label that will tell you what a glycemic index is.”
So, it’s not an easy diet to follow.[whdh.com]
However, what matters in dieting is that you start it with a strong will. So, whatever diet program you choose, it’ll end up with a great result.
Good luck, again!

If you are detoxing, it’s better to have a detox journal. That way, you can:
- record how you feel–both physically and emotionally
- write down all ideas about your hopes, your fears, your thoughts about the past, and your feelings about the present and he future
The journal can be a notebook or a even blog–if you’re ready to have others read it.
Nice writing!
