This week, the award goes to this lovely 35 year old father, Mpatel.
He’s been dedicating his blog to his great effort to improve his fitness level. And, he’s totally committed to his strong will. You can check out his detailed story about all his work out.
On his last post he mentioned that he did 1.5 hours of weight lifting plus 30 min of Cardio HIT. He also did chest and triceps. I did 275 on a flat bench for 1 rep.
That’s a wow or what?
So, congratulations, Mpatel, you’re our HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK!
You definitely deserve this award for all you’ve been doing for your improved fitness level and your feeling so good about doing all your magnificent effort.
We also believe that you can be a good role model for anyone out there to maintain a good health and fitness level.

Healthy inside out is what makes us here at Healthifica.com chose Nikki as our “HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK!”
She cleaned up her house for she will have some guests on the Labor Day Weekend. She took out documents, letters, CDs, etc. She also gave away all the baby stuff she had for Connor, her son, to the daycare that he went to.
Those things are sweet memories of her past. Some people tend to keep them and just let them get dusted in the attic or in the den. Some even have never stepped in there to check out the stuff. Some just add and add until they can’t even open the door for it’s extra-loaded.
But some, like Nikki, finally get to the decision to clear them out. Whatever the reason, Nikki really had done something important and healthy. Both for her heart and her house.
By exploring one by one all her stuff in the eight boxes she’s been keeping, she took out all the memories, the sweet, sad, touchy, and lovely. That gives her a melancholy feeling. Well, don’t worry, Nikki. Being melancholy once in a while is quite healthy, indeed.
And now, she’s got her house all clean. And, she’s ready for a lovely weekend with her guests.

This dear Mom has just gone to a doctor. She claimed that she had a problem with anxiety, guilt and worry.
But, for us here, she’s the healthiest person we could find this week. She’s our HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK.
Why her? Why we think she’s that healthy?
Why not? She made a good decision to visit the doctor. Only a healthy person can find out that she needs to visit one.
The unhealthy one is the one who denies that he or she is having a health issue.
So, for us all here, she deserves the award.
And, yes, Mom, we’re all here for you…

This is the fourth time Healthifica.com awards a blogger “HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK!”
Now, we’d like to grant this award to a great weight watcher, Megan, who managed to lose another pound this week.
Realize it or not, Megan’s been leading a healthy life in her process to reach her goal. She becomes more aware of what she eats. She checks food labels. And, she exercises.
Plus, by blogging about it, she can motivate other bloggers to start watching their weight. Not only for a great body but also for health, plus for feeling good about themselves.

The one we have chosen to be awarded “HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK” is a lovely healthy pregnant mother.
Congratulations, Lisanne. You deserve it for your being a very healthy pregnant woman.
Lisanne, wife of Jeff, mother of Lucas, is expecting her second child (due 10.31.06).
She had a routine OB appointment last Wednesday. Her blood pressure was normal, 117 over 70. She’s only gained 15 pounds so far with her pregnancy. And, the baby’s heartbeat was loud and strong, indicating that the baby’s healthy.
Anytime soon she has to do the glucose challenge test, good luck, Lisanne — she asked for that.
So, congratulations, again, Lisanne, you’re our “HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK!“

Who is our “HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK” now?
It’s Hilda. Congratulations, Hilda!
Hilda is chosen because she made it to run for 18 miles in a damped air.
She prepared this marathon since the day before by consuming more complex carb. The next morning she woke up at 5.00 and had orange juice and oatmeal for the pre-training meal.
Five minutes afterwards, she started running. Thanks to her positive thinking, she made the 18 miles. And, she definitely enjoyed it.
She wrote this lovely last sentence in her post, “How nice is running, it gives you the nicest time to enjoy yourself, the only thing to be done is to go on no matter what is going on around.”
So, if you’re planning to include running in your exercise plan, you should look up to her.
Way to go, Hilda!

Well, it’s something new for our blog. The team decided that everyone should at least get a chance to be honored with a special award.
So, here we are, starting this week, choosing a blogger with a great healthy effort in his or her life to be awarded “HEALTHY BLOGGER THIS WEEK!“
Health is not always something you take for granted. You do something, sometimes such a huge effort that you thought you wouldn’t have been able to do, so that you become healthy inside out.
This man, Ben Sutherland, is chosen. Why? What did he do to deserve such an award?
He let go something very valuable in his life for a more peaceful life. Yet, he knew what he was doing and he was certain that that would be the best decision he could make.
Only healthy people can make a decision to improve their life. Healthy, physically and mentally.
And, Ben Sutherland is the one.
