Motivation Keeps Me Running

Sarah has shown that with motivation she can reach her goal. I have to have motivation too to keep me running. This is important for me to reach my goal.

Got Lip Balm in Your Purse?

Great if you do! Your lips must be in their best condition.
Lip balm is a substance that is used to alleviate chapped or dry lips. The balm is usually made of beeswax, petroleum jelly, menthol, scented oils, and vitamins, alum, and salicylic acid.

Often, sunscreen is included as well in lip balms to prevent damage from the sun.

Amy and Paz have one each in their purse. Veronique and Jessica just bought one each.

My Personal Goals

I have personal goals. Mostly are about wanting to look good and healthy. I think everybody have their own goals too.

Let see what a personal goal is.

Individuals can have personal goals. A student may set a goal of a high mark in an exam. An athlete might walk five miles a day. A traveler might try to reach his destination city within three hours.

Managing goals can give returns in all areas of life. By knowing precisely what one wants to achieve, makes clear what to concentrate and improve on.

Being Sick…

When you are sick (cold, influenza, cough etc), your body is having an abnormal condition that causes discomfort, dysfunction, or distress.

Try to reduce it by

  • making yourself warm with hot food and hot drink
  • eat healthful foods sufficiently
  • get some sleep
  • don’t push yourself doing hard exercise
  • if possible increase your immunity by consuming multivitamins supplement

Smile!!!

Let’s try to be realistic about life. Try to do something that keeps us going.

If you have tough moments, don’t feel sad.

  • Smile as frequently as you can. True smiling can make us feel better, help lighter the side of things and makes us approachable.
  • Try to be content. Happiness is nothing but the ability to be content.
  • See what you have. Don’t just stick to what you don’t have (not what you lack)
  • Plan things. Living life the same way everyday is boring. Plan something new in order to sustain interest in our lives by doing new things.

Any Childhood Memory?

It’s always nice to take a moment to recall all our childhood memories. The funny ones, or the sad ones, even the embarassing ones.

How many memories do you have?

One, two, three? Or many?

Sometimes, some old photo albums or videos are such big helps in memorizing all the childhood events. But, what if those albums or videos are gone? What’s left in our memory? Zero!

So, now, how to keep them in mind without having to depend on the albums and videos?

Story-telling. If you have children, try to always gather with them and encourage them to tell you what they have been through the whole day. The next days, ask them again about the experience. That makes a great exercise!

What if you’re not a child anymore, yet you prefer to keep your present memories in mind? Yet, you feel embarassed to talk about certain experiences with others?

Write a diary or in this world of high technology like now, why don’t you blog?

You know what, writing is a great brain sport!
